In Blackfencer's Falkner-style messer, the straight false edge and clipped long edge tip come together in a fun and distinctive blade shape. The sword maintains the balance and feeling of standard messers, making the selection of this weapon one of personal preference. This messer is designed specifically for left-handed fighters.

Blackfencer Katana (With Edge Shape)
We still need to measure these out, but they look and feel great! The edge-shaped models are a little longer than the fuller models.
This custom-designed sword was designed for new or young fencers who would like something cheap and correctly sized to practice with at home. It has adequate flex for thrusts, but the cross is not designed to handle powerful hits without bending.
Blackfencer Longsword (Sharp Simulator)
If you could buy just one pair of swords for your club, this is the model we would recommend. Durable enough to be used for many years to come, these offer something that most training swords lack: BIND! The interlocking teeth on the edges of the blade ensure that they will stick when edge-to-edge, then slide appropriately when turned to flats. We have compared these to real sharp longswords, and the bind is strikingly similar.
Despite common concerns, there is little need to worry about the teeth increasing the risk of injury. While there is a higher chance of small scratches on uncovered skin, but we have found the Longsword Sharp Simulators to pose minimal increased risk among our students at South Coast Swords.
Blackfencer Macuahuitl - Aztec War Club
Designed with the expert guidance of Roberto Martinez-Loyo of Elite Fencing Club, this macuahuitl trainer offers a realistic weight and balance without breaking the bank. The macuahuitl was typically a ripping and tearing weapon used for taking prisoners, and when you handle this and imagine the flint-lined edge, you'll understand why.

Based on a Brown Bess Musket (a historical training tool), this synthetic musket and flexible bayonet is a unique offering created by South Coast Swords and Blackfencer. The musket has sufficient weight to mimic the handling of an original, without being abusive if an accidental butt strike lands. A piece of metal (not included) can also be strapped to the rifle portion to reach the appropriate historical weight. The bayonet offers exceptional flex, and is pre-drilled with a pin to hold it in place. The bayonet may also be removed for ease of storage.

17 inches bayonet
57 1/2 inches musket without bayonet
72 3/4 inch overall length
Blackfencer Protective Cap
Blackfencer's Protective Caps were originally created to cover the ends of the old longsword cross guards. Since then, the cross has become thicker (and safer), and we've found that these make exceptional sword tips! Use them on everything from rapiers to feders (steel) for drilling and sparring.
Blackfencer Ring Hilt Federschwert
Looking at longswords throughout history, it didn't take long for complex hilted designs to begin appearing. The addition of simple rings on the side of the sword offers significant protection for the hands of the user. If you're seeking an increased level of safety, this sword is for you. The rings are over-sized to accommodate any size of glove in a thumb-grip.
